The order for the World Architect Cards Kickstarter cards has been placed as of Friday! Our printers are reputable and we have worked with both before so we foresee no real problems on that end (I hate saying things like that). Hopefully the cards will arrive sometime in the first or second week of May. As soon as the cards arrive, we will begin shipping - we are ready on our end. Our goal is to have all of the cards shipped by the first couple weeks of June – several months before the anticipated delivery date. So that’s all great news.
I didn’t think I would have time this weekend to do the FALQSR drawing, but I did. Nonetheless, I will announce the winners Monday evening. All who entered got their name put in a bucket. Then, my wife drew two of you guys at random. So, if you won, you should thank her.
I like doing contests and giving away stuff, it’s exciting for us as well. Plus, some of the comments left on the last one were entertaining. It's always nice ot see a comment thread not devolve into politics, religion, or Hitler. Well done participants!
There is a lot negativity in some parts of the gaming community these days. I understand that this is the nature of the beast - lots of people and lots of different philosophies results in conflit. So, as a counter to conflict, I will give stuff away. On our end, I feel like these contest are a light thank you to all of the people who support us. We have some loyal folks and we are really thankful you like and support our stuff. So, I’m going to keep doing contests. As soon as this QSR contest wraps up, we will do another contest where we give away a free deck of Dungeon Architect Cards. After that, custom FAL drawings in some nice little wooden frames. Then, a World Architect Cards contest. We will run these contests about every two weeks.
Anyways. Here’ a couple of picks of the drawing.
Pile of entries. 75 total!
Because buckets for drawings are more legit. It looks like a plain bucket but on the other side is a horribly painted farm scene. I hid that in the photo to retain some level of dignity.
Gah. The other side of the bucket. If someone in my family is reading this who painted the picture - I apologize. It looks hand painted. I don't know why they got all lazy and only painted half the bucket. Look at that tree - lol. I actually love it. And those sheep.
