We have several decks of Dungeon Architect Cards leftover from the Kickstarter. All of these decks come in a custom tuck box. They are all numbered. All of the cards themselves are shrink-wrapped. They are being priced at $20 for a single deck. If you get 2 or more decks, they are $15 each. We are picking up domestic shipping. International folks, shipping is on you (sorry). These decks will be available only until they run out. We will never reproduce the custom tuck box again (nor will future decks be numbered). If you are interested, send us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make things happen.
Okay. Marketing and selling aside. The FAL Creatures Vol. 2 is in the works and is about half finished. While a specific number of entries is not known, it will be between 120 and 130 new FAL monsters. The format of this book is the same as the first creature book, short creature entries, artwork, stats, etc.. However, we will be offering up some additional bonuses in the back of the book. These will include random encounter tables for Creatures Vol 1 and Vol 2, rules for playing PCs as various species, wild charts and mutation charts, size comparisons, drops, and more.
The entries in Creatures Vol. 2 continue to explore FAL as well as various other planets and spheres in universe as well. Also, all of the unnamed or non-stated creatures included as artwork in the original books have been included with stats and descriptions in CV2.
The website has undergone some changes. It's nothing groundbreakingly profound, but it is more user friendly - I hope. The major change made to the site is the new store which offers all of our books and cards at a much lower price. Right now, everything is available as a digital version only. We are still working out the kinks in the print versions of things and trying to figure out how to go about simplifying ordering and delivery of physical items. It shouldn't be long until that is taken care of.
What is really cool about the new store is the fact that we were able to reduce the price of everything. The Tome of Awesome was $25 on RPGNOW (it still is), but since we aren't paying others a huge percentage to handle our product, we were able to reduce the price to $15 - which I think is much more fair. All of the core books and cards have been reduced as well (to $5 USD). I hope this will allow more people to pick up the books and get in on the game.
With nearly half the month gone and time running out on the Adventure Quest contest, I wanted to remind you all of the impending date of September 1st for this is the date that is the cutoff for entering the contest! (Your submission must be post marked by that date).
A handful of folks have already entered the contest. If you have yet to enter, you should do so as soon as possible. The drawing will happen sometime in October.
For those not in the know, the prizes include a badass Noknil statuette hand made by your very own, a premium version of the FAL Tome of Awesome hardback in all its glorious color, a deck of monster cards, and a deck of our brand new Dungeon Architect Cards. That's a prize value of over $200 bucks as I estimate (of course, I have no clue how much the statue is worth). It's free to enter (minus the cost of postage).
You will need to download the following adventures to get the clues...
Dastardly Dungeon of Doom
